Privacy
How calculator URLs, operational logs, analytics, advertising cookies, and email may be handled.
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and written into the query string so a scenario can be bookmarked or shared. Query strings can appear in browser history, server request logs, referrer information, and messages where you paste a link. The tools do not need names, account identifiers, location, or credentials; do not put sensitive information in any field.
Calculations and URL state
There is no account, no login, and no server-side calculation. Species lookups read a dataset committed with the site, and every stat, IV, EV, damage, Speed, and CP result is computed in the page from what you typed. Nothing is posted to a database, and no calculation is retained after you leave. The single place inputs become visible outside your browser is the address bar, because that is what makes a result shareable; removing the query string before sharing, or clearing site data, both work as you would expect.
Analytics
The site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate use — which calculators are opened, whether visitors reach the inputs, and where a layout or a table is confusing. Clarity sets its own cookies or similar browser storage and records interaction events such as clicks and scrolling. It is used to improve the pages, not to identify a visitor, and its data is not sold or combined with anything else. Blocking cookies, using a tracker-blocking extension, or browsing in a privacy mode all prevent it from loading.
Logs and advertising
Basic hosting logs may record IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, response status, and error details for security and reliability. If advertising is introduced, ad partners may use cookies or local storage for measurement and, where allowed, personalization. Consent controls will appear where law requires them. No automatic ads are enabled at launch; fixed reserved spaces avoid layout shift.
Email and external sites
Email sent to the contact address is used to answer the message, investigate a correction, and retain a reasonable editorial record. Contact details are not sold. Requests about access or deletion of information supplied directly by email can be sent to privacy@ivcalc.io. External source sites apply their own privacy terms when you follow a citation.
Because the species dataset is a local snapshot rather than a live API call, using a calculator does not send your species selection, team, or level to any third party. The only outbound requests a page makes are for its own static assets and the analytics script described above. This policy will be updated before any materially different collection practice begins.
